Frontiers of on-line reputation dynamics

Brief presentation

Reputation based systems are nowadays very common in virtual environments. However, very novel research stressed the existence of possible distortions due to reputation influence upon people’s decision making (e.g., cumulative effects, reputation inertia). Several main open questions need to be addressed to unlock the real potential of reputational systems for human dynamics in virtual environment.
